Robber Attacks 80-Year-Old Woman In Chelsea Apartment, Police Say
The robber shoved the old woman to the ground before running away with $150 in cash, police said.

CHELSEA, NY — A robber attacked an 80-year-old woman as she entered her Chelsea apartment on Thursday, shoving her to the ground and stealing $150, police said.
The 80-year-old woman was headed to her home in the Penn South housing complex, near Ninth Avenue and West 28th Street, on Thursday at about 3:45 p.m., according to police.
The robber, who officers have not identified, followed the woman into the building and then into her apartment, police said. The men then allegedly pushed the old woman to the ground, shoving her to the floor as she walked into her apartment's door, police said. The man grabbed $150 in cash before running away from the building, according to the NYPD.

The man hasn't yet been arrested and police released surveillance photos of him on Friday in an attempt to locate him.
