Sandwich Shop Opens In Chelsea’s Olly Olly Market

CHELSEA, NY - Lunch break, anyone?

A new made-to-order sandwich and salad shop has opened inside the Olly Olly Market (601 W. 26th St.) in Chelsea.

Dubbed Little Biggs Sandwich Shop, the sub station opened Aug. 29 and features specialities such as the BLAT (smokehouse bacon, avocado, basil pesto, garlic mayo and arugula) The Classic (choice of turkey, Berkshire ham or roasted chicken, mayo, house pickles and red onion) and the Little Biggs Burrito (avocado mash, egg, cheddar, grilled onion and potatoes, and choice of aji verde or salsa fresca).

“Enjoy always made to order sandwiches, on high quality artisan bread, with wholesome nitrate free clean ingredients and our signature pickled veggies and house-made sauces,” reads a description of the eatery on its website.

The shop is helmed by Little Food Co., a health-focused group of fast casual restaurants launched in January 2022. All three brands - City Chik, Extravert and Little Biggs Sandwich Shop - are located in Urbanspace and Olly Olly Market food halls.

Little Biggs Sandwich Shop’s hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Olly Olly Market opened in late 2022, per Eater, and features an assortment of other eateries: Bar Avant, Boy Blue Coffee & Goods, DDOBAR, Forsyth Fire Escape, JM Bakery, Kinn Thai, Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab, Pen 'n Coop, Ploo and Shmackwich.
