MANHATTAN, NY — Shirlene Quigley, 32, a Los Angeles-born professional dancer who recently moved to the New York City area to dance backup for Beyonce and Rihanna and teach dance classes in Manhattan, disappeared mysteriously sometime between Saturday, Oct. 22, and Sunday, Oct. 23, according to police in North Bergen, New Jersey, where Quigley lives.

Rihanna sent out a plea to her millions of Instagram followers Monday night to help find Quigley (embedded below). "This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!!" the megastar wrote. "My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!"

The young woman, a reported congregant at Liberty Church in Brooklyn Heights, was still missing as of 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, according to the North Bergen Police Department.

Quigley's landlord in North Bergen last spotted her leaving her apartment around 3 p.m. Saturday in a "pink top, blue jeans and high heels," police said.

Later that night around 1 a.m. (Sunday morning, technically), police said someone else saw Quigley in the vicinity of the Port Authority Bus Terminal, near the dance studio where she teaches classes in Hell's Kitchen — "still wearing the same clothing described by her landlord."

The NYPD, which is assisting the North Bergen Police Department in the search for Quigley, located her vehicle based on a reading from an Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR), and tracked down her cellphone, police said.

The cellphone was reportedly found in a bridal store in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, and the car outside a Hertz car rental agency on West 55th Street.

Quigley teaches at Broadway Dance Center, where she runs a stiletto-centric class "designed to strengthen your moves, grooves, and attitude in your favorite pair of heels." She was photographed with a huge smile at an event at the center on Friday, Oct. 21 — one day before she disappeared.

Her father, who lives in California, told NBC New York that Quigley normally calls him every day around 6 p.m., and he became concerned when he hadn't heard from her Saturday night. He said in the interview that his daughter's phone could have ended up at the Chelsea bridal store if she went there to pick something up for a show.

Quigley's father also told NBC that his daughter made a strange comment to her friend recently — something along the lines of "Get ready, it's about to happen and I'm going to need you to sub for me."

In addition to Rihanna and Beyonce, Quigley has danced backup for Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Mary J Blige, Jamie Foxx, Ray J, PorcelainBlack, Lil Romeo, Ashanti, Fantasia, Jaheim and "many more," according to her Broadway Dance Center bio.

The North Bergen Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about Quigley's whereabouts contact the department's detective bureau at (201) 392-2092.
