Electric Shock Hurts 1 At Standard Hotel: Report
One person was taken to a hospital on Wednesday.

CHELSEA, NY — An electrical emergency at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday, fire officials said.
The New York Post reported that a person was electrocuted on the 18th floor of the luxury hotel located at 848 Washington St. A fire department spokeswoman was not able to confirm details but told Patch that emergency responders arrived at the hotel shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday and transported somebody to the hospital. The person's condition was not immediately known, the spokeswoman said.
The Post said it was unknown if the individual was an employee or guest of the upscale hotel, which borders the High Line.
