Track Fire At 18th Street Subway Causes Train Delays
A small rubbish fire on the tracks at the 18th Street subway station has caused delays along the 1, 2 and 3 lines, according to the MTA.

CHELSEA, NY — A small rubbish fire on the tracks at the 18th Street subway station has caused delays along the 1, 2 and 3 lines, according to the MTA.
A small rubbish fire under the tracks at the 18th Street subway station was reported to the city's fire department at about 5:45 p.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. Firefighters were on scene addressing the situation as of 6:15 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
The MTA cautioned to expect delays along all three lines while the FDNY investigates.
