2 Teens Seriously Injured In Commack Crash

The driver lost control of the car and struck a tree, injuring himself and his passenger, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Two teenagers were seriously injured in a crash in Commack on Tuesday morning.

Alexander Wisniewski, 18, of Dix Hills, was driving a 2022 BMW M5 northbound on Old Commack Road when he lost control of the BMW and struck a tree on the driver’s side at 10:27 a.m., police said.

Wisniewski and the passenger in the vehicle, Haris Khan, 18, of Dix Hills, suffered serious injuries and were brought to a nearby hospital, police said.

The BMW was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
