#86- Enroll the Kids in Cougar Athletic Camp
A budget-friendly way to keep the kids active over the summer.
Summer camp is a rite of passage for kids on Long Island. It can also be a huge financial burden to parents.
That's where Cougar Athletic Camp, a summer program offered by the Commack School District, comes in.
The athletic camp is offered to children in grades 3 through 8 and is dispersed into five 5-day sessions where kids can get specialized training in a specific sport. Participants receive four hours of sports instruction each day by a certified coach.Each session costs only $100 per child.

All sessions are held at Commack High School.
Kids can choose to sign up for a myriad of sports, including footbal, tennis, field hockey, lacrossse, volleyball and many more.
