Amazon Driver Flees After Car Crashes Into Commack Garage: Police
The delivery driver left her car in drive, and the vehicle slowly rolled into the garage while she was dropping off a package, police say.

COMMACK, NY — An Amazon delivery driver is wanted in connection with driving away after her car crashed into a Commack garage earlier this week, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said.
An Amazon delivery driver was driving a grey Chevrolet SUV when she pulled into a driveway on Hayrick Lane around 8:30 a.m. Dec. 16, police said. The driver got out of the vehicle, leaving it in drive, to deliver the package, police said. The SUV then slowly rolled into the garage door, police said. The driver fled in the SUV, police said. There were no injuries, the department said.
"We are looking into this and cooperating with police," Amazon spokesperson Sharyn Ghacham told Patch.
