April 7: Student Art Reception, Fundraiser Boutique and School Draft Budget

Here's what's going on today in and around Commack.

There's a little something for everyone today—whether your into the arts, shopping, or getting down to business and diving into the numbers of the school budget. Here's all the info you need to keep informed of what's happening today in Commack.

1. : Ten students from have been chosen to display their artwork at the Huntington Art Council's satellite gallery, Art-Trium. Tonight's opening reception starts at 5:30 p.m. and will feature  performances from the high school music ensemble.

2. : Stop by the tonight at 7 p.m., where they'll be selling miscellaneous boutique items. Profits will benefit the JCC Scholarship Fund.

3. : The day we've all been waiting for is finally here. Tonight at 8 p.m. at Commack High School, the draft school district budget for 2011-2012 will be presented in full.

4. : The Christian Women's Club will be having a luncheon at at 11:30 a.m. Tickets cost $20.
