LI Bus Crash: 4 Pre-School Children, 2 Adults Onboard

COMMACK, NY — A minibus carrying four pre-school children and two adults crashed in Commack on Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said. The adults were injured in the crash, the department said.

The bus struck a guardrail and landed on its side on Express Drive South, just west of Wicks Road, around 10:35 a.m., police said.

The four children on the bus were taken to nearby hospitals for evaluation, the department said. The children attend Building Blocks Preschool in Commack, and all parents were notified, police said.

The driver, a man, and an aide, a woman, suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals, police said.
