Cars Collide on Townline Road

Three people were hospitalized following a two-car crash in Commack Monday evening.

The accident, which occurred on Townline Road near Marshmallow Drive, involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee that overturned as well as a Lexus which swerved onto a nearby lawn.

The Commack Fire Department as well as members of the Commack Ambulance Corps responded to the scene and transported the victims to St. Catherine's Hospital and Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to the head, neck and back. 

According to a witness who declined to give their name, the driver of the Jeep ran through a stop sign, causing the SUV to collide with the Lexus.
