Commack 2024-25 School Budget Passes Handily

COMMACK, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Commack School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2024-25 school budget by a margin of 1,701 yes votes to 400 no votes.
The district's budget is $227,094,961, up 2.24 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $155,698,830, up 1.99 percent.
Commack Board of Education challenger Dana Schultz (1,047 votes) defeated incumbent Gus Hueber (997 votes). The term is three years.
