Commack Massage Parlor Raid: Man, Woman Arrested, Police Say

The man and woman were each charged with performing an unlicensed massage, police say. The building was deemed unsafe, police say.

COMMACK, NY — A man and woman were arrested in connection with performing an unlicensed massage during a raid at a massage parlor in Commack on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.

Suffolk police and Town of Smithtown officials investigated Relax & Go, at 27 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, at 5 p.m., police said.

Shuliang Zhang, 47, of Flushing, was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and
prostitution, police said. Meizhen Chen, 52, of Flushing, was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, police said.

The Smithtown Fire Marshal issued numerous violations for building and electrical offenses, and the
Smithtown Building Department deemed the establishment to be unsafe for human occupancy, police said.

Zhang and Chen were issued desk appearance tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First
District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
