Cops: Women Purchased $1.7K of Cigarettes with Stolen Credit Card

Two women used stolen credit card information to make purchases at convenience stores and gas stations in Commack, Deer Park and East Northport in January, police said.

The pair, whose identities are unknown, reportedly used the stolen information to make multiple purchases, the bulk of which was $1,700 worth of cigarettes, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Calls are confidential.
