Crime Log: DWI Arrests; Hypodermic Needle

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

• Darlene Ancona, 42, of Commack, was arrested May 20 on a charge of DWI. Police said Ancona was driving a 2012 Toyota on Commack Road, near Cedar Road, at 12:50 a.m. when she hit a sign and embankment. She was sent to Huntington Hospital for minor injuries. 

• Lisandro Chub, 28, of Hicksville, was arrested in Commack May 18 on a charge of DWI. Police said Chub was driving on Motor Parkway, near Harned Road, at 4 a.m. when he failed to maintain his lane of traffic and then stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road.    

• Willian Ventura, 29, of Brentwood, was arrested May 15 in Commack on a charge of DWI. Police said Ventura was speeding in a 2004 Hummer at 1 a.m.    

• Jamie Culoso, 24, of Commack was arrested May 15 on a charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor. Culoso was also arrested May 20 for a parole warrant, police said.
