E-Bike Rider Killed In Suffolk Hit-And-Run Crash Identified: Police
He died Friday night, police say.
COMMACK, NY — Police have identified an e-bike ride killed in a Commack hit-and-run crash Friday night as Aryan Saini, 20, of Central Islip.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on May 2 Hauppauge Road at 11:57 p.m.
Saini was riding an e-bike eastbound on Hauppauge Road when he was struck from behind by a small white SUV, also traveling eastbound, in front of 68 Hauppauge Road; the driver then fled the scene, police said.

Saini was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
