Family Forum: Making Time to Volunteer

As you may have noticed, Our Moms Talk Q&A now has a new (and gender-neutral) name: Family Forum.

In this week's Family Forum, we're talking about volunteering. With the hype of the recent behind us, it's important to keep in mind that those in need always need the help of their community.

And while we're all busy with kids, jobs and houses, we should keep in mind the importance of giving back to people who need help.

Which leads to this week's questions:

How often do you and your family participate in volunteer or charity work? Do you wish you could spend more time giving back? Is it important to teach kids about giving their time to help others?
