First Long Island Famous Toastery Opens In Commack

COMMACK, NY - The first ever New York Famous Toastery restaurant finally opened in Commack recently.
The highly-anticipated breakfast spot opened on 10-2020 Jericho Turnpike.
The chain was started by Long Island natives and friends Brian Burchill and Robert Maynard, with their first location in Huntersville, North Carolina.

The two decided to come back home and finally open the franchise's first Long Island store in 2016, but postponed the opening thanks to permitting issues.
Now, the Commack Famous Toastery is up and running, serving up popular breakfast foods and lunch foods.

On Monday, the restaurant even announced it will be hosting a contest to win a $100 gift card on its Facebook page.
A second Long Island Famous Toastery is in the works on the East End for 2019.
