Jogger Killed In Suffolk Crash; 2 Others Injured: Police
A woman was killed, and her two brothers were hurt when the three were jogging on Thursday morning, police say.
COMMACK, NY — A woman was killed in a crash while jogging with her brothers on Thursday morning in Commack, Suffolk police said.
Ilona Kaydanov, Dennis Kaydanov and Joseph Kaydanov were jogging single file on the north shoulder of Harned Road, near Donna Court, when they were struck by a 2022 Chrysler Voyager, driven by a 44-year-old Bay Shore woman, at 8:20 a.m., police said.
Ilona Kaydanov, 22, of Commack, was pronounced dead at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore.

Dennis Kaydanov, 20, and Joseph Kaydanov, 13, both of Commack, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
The driver and her two adult passengers, a 44-year-old woman and 64-year-old man, were not injured, police said.

The Chrysler was impounded for a safety check. Detectives asked anyone with information on the
crash to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
