Man Steals Nearly $1.5K Worth Of Tools From Harbor Freight In Commack: Police

A man nabbed a generator, jump starter, and pocketknife, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, stole from a Commack store in April.

A man entered Harbor Freight, at 116 Veterans Memorial Highway, around 6:10 p.m. April 30 and stole a generator, jump starter, and pocketknife, valued at approximately $1,490, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
