Man And Woman Switch Tags On Items During Commack Target Theft: Police

The duo switched tags on several items and stole $420 worth of merchandise, police say.

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man and woman who, police said, stole from a Commack store in September.

A man and woman switched the tags on several items at Target, at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, at approximately 7:50 p.m. Sept. 23, police said. The pair left without paying, police said.
The stolen merchandise was valued at roughly $420, police said. The man and woman are wanted for petty larceny.

A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
