New Sports Bar Opens In Commack

COMMACK, NY - A new sports bar recently opened its doors in Commack this month.

Bleachers Bar and Grill opened on 6092 Jericho Turnpike. The restaurant replaced the Irish bar Bantry Bay.

According to the description on the bar's Facebook page, bleachers Bar & Grill is a "celebration of community and sports, where every guest becomes a friend."

"Great food and entertainment the entire family can enjoy; it’s the big game, little league practice, or just an average Tuesday. It’s the spot in town; to see old classmates, meet new friends, and go to relax after work. Watching the game is just more fun when you watch it from the Bleachers," the description reads.

The new bar held its grand opening last weekend, celebrating with half-price draft beers and other specials.

Bleachers offers classic American bar food as well as over 20 beers on tap.

The bar is open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays until 11 p.m.
