An accident involving a tractor trailer and a Toyota Corolla caused more traffic than usual to pile up on Jericho Turnpike Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of Jericho Turnpike, near the Commack/East Northport border.

No injuries were reported.
