Last School Budget Workshop Thursday
The public will be able to speak on the spending proposal for the last time before the board approves the budget.

The last school budget workshop, in which the public can be heard before the Commack Board of Education adopts the spending plan, will take place Thursday at 8 p.m. in the art gallery of Commack High School.
The work session is an informal public hearing for residents to express their thoughts on the budget. A formal hearing will also take place, as required by law, but only once the budget is already adopted.
The budget adoption will take place April 18 and the formal hearing will take place May 9. Residents will cast their votes May 21.
