Tractor-Trailer Strikes Overpass On LIE
A rough go on the Long Island Expressway this morning, especially for the driver of this tractor-trailer.
COMMACK, NY – A tractor-trailer struck an overpass on the Long Island Expressway Wednesday morning.
It happened in the westbound lanes at Exit 53–the Sagtikos State Parkway, according to the New York Department of Transportation. The right lane is expected to be closed most of the day as cleanup takes place.
There's been no word on any injuries.
