The transformer caught fire outside on Friday afternoon.
COMMACK, NY — A transformer fire was reported in Commack on Friday afternoon, according to the Commack Fire Department.
The fire call came in at 12:37 p.m. at Jericho Turnpike and Indian Head Road. A telephone pole went ablaze, Suffolk police said.
