Weekend Spotlight: Yard Sales, Fundraiser Car Washes and an Outdoor Concert

Garage Sales: Feeling thrifty? Stop by the sales on and for great delas on gently used furniture, clothing, collectibles and more.

: Get your car washed by the Commack Cougarettes in the parking lot of from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Support our national champions.

: Catch blues and folk crooner Russ Seeger performing live at at 9 p.m. for dinner and a show.

Sunday, August 21

: Commackians have another chance to get their car washed for a good cause. Scout Troop 52 is holding a car wash at from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

: Savor one of the last Sundays of the summer with a tour of beautiful Northport village, where quirky shops will be turned into art galleries for the day. After you're finished strolling, stop by The Original Kasper's Hot Dogs for a bite to eat.

: Listen to music under the stars at . Soul Be It will be playing classic soul hits starting at 7 p.m. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on.
