Who do we want in the Commack School Board? More important, what do we want them to represent? Moral character? honesty? A code of ethics? Should they have kids in the district. one person running has no kids in district and - 60% - 3 of 5 Commack board members have NO kids in the schools. Seems odd - people without kids making decisions for other peoples kids!!! Why would they do this? Could it be what’s in it for them, their families?
There are some other matters to ask of and One current BOE member that he seems to skirt (or hide) these issues repeatedly! Let’s ask and see if we get answers-
Did you use your position as a Board member to get your son a job with a local politician? He does work for a local pol

Did you take campaign money (signs, mailings, etc) or help from the teachers union after giving them a new contract worth 5% raises every year?

Do you support diversity, equity and inclusion in our schools? Hmmm - just answer the question! No dancing
Have you ever used your influence to control Facebook groups Commack Moms or Commack Parents Network? We know you call to exert influence
Are you President of the library board that restricts Smithtown residents’ use of the “Commack” library on Commack road / funny the Commack library in Smithtown has no such restrictions against Huntington residents.
Answer the questions -do you want to represent our kids - Commack students - or do you want to represent yours? they don’t go to school here.
