7 Deer Park Student-Musicians Earn Music Honors
The students awarded All-County and All-State music honors.
DEER PARK, NY — Several Deer Park students are being acknowledged for their musical talents.
The district announced on Tuesday that seven student-musicians from Deer Park High School were recently awarded All-County music honors, and two of them also received All-State honors.
Evan Attrino (band), Xavier Edmond (chorus), Eadie Liu (orchestra), Sarah Naqvi (band), Dimitria Pavlatos (chorus), Gianna Sanchez (treble choir) and Theresa Tiernan (chorus) were named All County musicians by the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education.

Additionally, Attrino and Liu were named All-State musicians by the New York State School Music Association, and will perform with their ensembles in December at the NYSSMA Winter Conference in Rochester.
“I think a lot of hard work went into achieving this, and it’s always good to see your hard work pay off,” Attrino said.
