The Adventure Park at Long Island Announces 2023 Season Opening Day
The park has 14 trails with various self-guided challenges in the trees, including bridges, tightropes, ladders, and 49 zip lines.

WHEATLEY HEIGHTS, NY — A family-friendly, Wheatley Heights attraction park will soon be opening for its 2023 season.
The Adventure Park at Long Island, the area’s largest zip line and climbing adventure experience, announced its season opening day on Friday, March 31.
Located on the Henry Kaufmann Campground, the park consists of 14 trails with various self-guided challenges in the trees, including bridges, tightropes, ladders, and 49 zip lines, a release said.

“We are excited to welcome back our guest and staff for the 2023 season!” said Park Manager, Phil Insalaco. “The spring calendar is already starting to book up for groups and birthday parties, so we encourage people to plan ahead and start making reservations for their adventure.”
Participants wear harnesses with clips that connect to the trail’s safety system, ensuring that they are always locked on to the course until they reach the end.

The main trails are designed for ages 7 to adult, and an Adventure Playground provides a low-to-the-ground adventure experience for little climbers ages 3 to 6.
Non-climbing participants are admitted free of charge.
Tickets are available for general admission, groups and birthday parties.
