Deer Park Barber Shop Holding Fundraiser for Cancer-Stricken Co-Worker
Bowling fundraiser will include a Chinese auction to help raise money for medical bills.
The Deer Park Barber Shop will be hosting a fundraiser event this weekend to help raise funds for an employee diagnosed with stage-four colon and liver cancer.
The barber shop will hold a fundraiser and Chinese auction at the Deer Park Bowling Alley this Sunday, May 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All proceeds will go towards helping Deer Park Barber Shop employee Rayme, who has been diagnosed with colon and liver cancer, pay her climbing medical bills.
The event will cost $25, which includes unlimited bowling, shoes, food and soda.
Donations for the event or to help Rayme can be sent to the Barber Shop at 854 Long Island Avenue, Deer Park, NY.
