Deer Park Boys Soccer, Fundraiser Ahead for Tuesday

Welcome to Tuesday, Deer Park and North Babylon – here's what's going on today.

Forecasts call for a nice and cool day with temperatures topping out at 67 degrees with sunny skies. Night time will see things cool down a bit as the temperatures shed to 50 degrees.

The North Babylon Library will hold an event on Bats, as in "Stellaluna" and not the type the Pittsburgh Pirates are using, for kids between kindergarten and fifth grade at 4 p.m. Each participant will make a bat to bring home. 

St. Cyril and Methodius school students and parents will go ever so slightly southon Deer Park Avenue to the McDonald's next to the AT&T store for a fundraiser tonight. A portion of all purchases at McDonald's between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. will be donated to the school.

And rounding out the day, the Deer Park boys soccer team hosts East Islip at 4 p.m.
