Deer Park Student Musicians Steal The Show At Music in the Parks
Robert Frost Middle School's band and chamber choir received "Excellent" ratings at the Music in the Parks music competition at Dorney Park.

DEER PARK, NY — Student musicians from Deer Park’s Robert Frost Middle School stole the show at a recent public event.
Two groups performed in the Music in the Parks music competition on June 1 at Dorney Park, including the band, directed by Michael Livorno, and the chamber choir, directed by Grace Donofrio.
Both ensembles received an "excellent" rating in their respective categories. The groups also received the Esprit de Coeur Trophy, which is given to the school that most exhibits pride, spirit, enthusiasm, friendliness, camaraderie and unity of purpose during the day of competition.

“Mrs. Donofrio and I would like to thank the students, parents, chaperones and staff
involved for a wonderful day filled with music and fun,” Livorno said.
