Pre-K students at Abraham Lincoln School in Deer Park recently learned about the importance of dental health from a local expert. Dentist Eric Hanson led the kids through the interactive program, which included the proper ways to brush and floss, and healthy eating habits that can help maintain strong teeth. To demonstrate the importance of teeth in speech patterns, students practiced reciting "There's magic in a healthy smile," without touching their tongue to their teeth.
