Empty in North Babylon: Fitness 19

Along Route 231 in North Babylon, the former home of Fitness 19 sits vacant, waiting for a tenant.

The space, which neighbors Pathmark, Applebee's and Floris Nail Spa, has remained empty since the gym closed last October.

There is certainly no shortage of food options in the area, as Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread and McDonald's are all nearby, and a Starbucks is getting ready to open just across the street.

Though this spot is closed, fans of Fitness 19 can head over to the chain's Lindenhurst location on Wellwood Avenue.
