Empty in North Babylon: Sears
After a brief stint as a Halloween Spirit, store on Deer Park Avenue sits vacant.
The former Sears Appliances and Hardware store in North Babylon is waiting for a tenant.
The 60,983-square-foot building anchors the shopping center on Deer Park Avenue and Bay Shore Road, which also houses Mama Sbarro's Pizzeria, Salpino's Italian specialty store and Emma's Deli.
Sears closed in May when the company decided to shut down underperforming stores. The space was temporarily filled by Halloween Spirit through the fall, though the pop-up shop left it vacant again after the holiday.
