Former North Babylon star breaks mark for 3-pointers to help put San Antonio one win from a fifth NBA title.

Danny Green’s record setting 3-point shooting has San Antonio one win from the franchise’s fifth NBA championship.
Sunday night, Green had 24 points, including six three-pointers, as the Spurs topped the Heat 114-104 in Game 5 to take a 3-2 series lead. The NBA Finals shifts back to Miami for Game 6 on Tuesday and Game 7 (if necessary) on Thursday.
The former North Babylon basketball star set an NBA Finals record with 25 3-pointers, breaking the record set by Ray Allen, who made 22 3-pointers in six games for Boston during the 2008 NBA Finals. Allen currently plays for Miami.
