Man Pulled Unconscious From Suffolk Pool In Critical Condition: PD

A Connecticut man is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a Suffolk County pool on Saturday, Suffolk County police say.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — A Connecticut man was found unresponsive in North Babylon pool on Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

Police were called to a North Babylon home at 210 Hunter Avenue after receiving a 911 call reporting that Rayquan Maxwell, 25, was found unresponsive in the pool, police said.

Family members and North Babylon Rescue performed CPR on Maxwell, a resident of Hartford, Connecticut, police said. The residence belongs to a relative of Maxwell, police said.

According to officials, Maxwell was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip where he is in serious condition.

First Squad detectives are investigating the incident. Anyone with information on this incident was asked to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
