Man Steals More Than $7,000 of Jewelry From Suffolk Store: Police

DEER PARK, NY — A man who stole seven gold chains worth thousands of dollars from a Deer Park store in September is current being sought after by Suffolk County police.

On Sept. 2, at about 2:15 p.m., a man opened a display case at Snug Harbor Jewelry Inc., located 1842 Deer Park Ave., and stole seven gold chains with a combined value of $7,425, police said.

The man faces charges of grand larceny.
