NBHS Track Star Competes In Prestigious Meet
State champion Kris Moran running in Glenn D. Loucks Memorial Track & Field games in White Plains.

North Babylon High School track star Kris Moran is competing in this weekend’s prestigious Glenn D. Loucks Memorial Track & Field games at White Plains High School.
According to a report on ESPNHS.com, Moran will compete in the 3200m race.
The Loucks Games brings together nearly 3,000 athletes from New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and parts of Canada.

Moran is the New York champion for the same distance indoors. He won the title this past March at the state Indoor Track & Field Championship in Ithaca with a time of 9:08.57, which was nearly three seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
“I was just running away from everyone,” Moran told Newsday after his victory in the state championships. “I didn’t even really feel like I was going that fast.
