The reptile duo will be taken to Jungle Bob's in Selden, Suffolk police said.

DEER PARK, NY — A pair of iguanas were found outside a home in Deer Park last week, Suffolk police said.

The first iguana, a three-footer, was found on Hawthorne Street just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 23, and when officers arrived, the reptile ran to a home on Ithaca Street where they also saw a six-foot iguana outside, according to police.

The officers and a resident were able to secure the two iguanas and the pair will be brought to Jungle Bob's Reptile World in Selden, police said.
