Pickup Truck Driver Sought In Fatal LI Hit-And-Run
A 51-year-old man was struck and killed while crossing a busy road

DEER PARK, NY – A 51-year-old Long Island man was struck and killed by a pickup truck Monday afternoon. Suffolk Police say the truck driver fled the scene.
According to police, Robert Donohue was crossing Deer Park Avenue eastbound at Grand Boulevard from the southwest corner of the street when he was struck by a southbound pickup truck at 2:53 p.m.
Donohue, of Deer Park, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle that fled the scene was described as a dark colored four-door pickup truck with possible front end and passenger-side damage.
