Suffolk Man Dies In Sunday Morning Crash: Police
The 51-year-old man died at the hospital after the crash, police say.
DEER PARK, NY — A Deer Park man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place at 7:13 a.m. at the corner of Grand Boulevard and West 11th Street.
Dominick Benedetto,51, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette eastbound on Grand Boulevard when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at the corner of West 11th Street, police said.

Benedetto was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Corvette was impounded for a safety check.
