Youth programs at local libraries highlight a busy day.

Looking for something to do today? Deer Park-North Babylon Patch below has listed a few things to do this fine Thursday in and around both towns.
The is hosting Wii Game Night for students in grades six to 12. The fun starts at 7 p.m. Get together with your friends for a fun night of Wii. The program is open only to North Babylon School District residents.
At the , Fun for Four and Five Year Olds will be held at 4:30 p.m. The program includes story-time fun featuring books, songs, rhymes and activities. Separation program parents are asked to remain in the library for the duration of the program.

Over at North Babylon High School, a Driver’s Education Lecture will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For those looking for an evening of music, the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center hosts a Guitar Extravaganza Salute to Guitar Legend Tony Mottola at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Under the direction of Peter Rogine and John Kelly, who are recognized as Tony Mottola Guitar ensemble experts, this concert will be presenting Mottola’s guitar ensemble music exactly as recorded.

In high school sports, the Deer Park High School varsity baseball team takes on Eastport/South Manor at home while the North Babylon High School varsity baseball team takes the bus to Hauppauge. First pitch for both games is 4 p.m.
