Weather Forecast
Fall has slowly taken its hold on Long Island, but we're about to see temperatures take a plunge as the week goes on. Sunny skies for the first two days this week with highs near the mid-to-upper 60's will change as rain moves in Wednesday along with a cold front. Waking up Thursday morning will be a chilling wake-up call with temperatures only peaking at 50 degrees.

The North Babylon Performing Arts Support Association will hold a meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21 at North Babylon High School.
The Deer Park Board of Education will hold a regular open meeting at the District Office on Tuesday, October 22 at 8 p.m.
The Town of Babylon will hold a public meeting at Babylon Town Hall in Lindenhurst at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22.
Monster Hunt
No, Scooby Doo and the gang are not coming with the Mystery Machine, but your third, fourth or fifth grader can head to the Deer Park Library this Friday at 4:15 p.m. to the join Jason Edwards of the Monster Detective Agency for a Monster Hunt scavenger search throughout the Children's Room to help find a scary monster!
Sporting Events
Both football teams are going to be away this weekend, but since this is Long Island, a short drive will net you another good game!
The Deer Park Falcons will head to Islip High School on Friday to take on the Buccaneers at 7 p.m.
The North Babylon Bulldogs will be just east, as in East Islip, on Friday at 3 p.m. to take the Redmen.
