North Babylon High School concert and the Deer Park Library E-Readers Group highlight a busy day.

It’s Tuesday and there’s a lot happening around Deer Park and North Babylon.

The spring concert will be held at 7 p.m. at North Babylon High School.

At the , the Knitting Group will meet at 7 p.m. Led by Roberta, the club welcomes all beginning and advanced knitters. Newcomers are asked to bring one ball of smooth, middleweight yarn and a pair of #8 knitting needles.

At the , the E-Readers Users Group meets at 7 p.m. Do you have an E-reader, tablet or iPad? The group meets monthly to share ideas, tips and answer questions to help users get the most out of their personal electronic device. Seating is limited.

Registration for the John J. MaMahon Jr. Spring Roller Hockey Club is on-going now and seeking players up to the age of 17. The league, providing youth hockey programs for more than 30 years, features three competitive age divisions (7-9 years, 10-12 years, and 13-17 years) and a beginner level clinic (6 and under). All games are played outdoors at the rink located at the Fabio Buttitta Memorial Park (Deer Park Pools) on Acorn Street in Deer Park.
