West Babylon Woman Arrested On Multiple Charges: Suffolk County Police
Police accuse her of crimes in Bay Shore, Huntington Station and West Babylon and an incident on the Southern State Parkway.

A West Babylon resident faces multiple charges over accusations of shoplifting and fleeing from police.
Karine Anderson, 29, was also arrested on outstanding bench warrants, Suffolk County police said.
She faces a charge of second degree robbery over an incident March 8, in which she is accused of taking multiple pairs of jeans from Saks 5th Avenue in Huntington Station and biting an employee of the store when leaving, police said.

She faces a charge of petty larceny from another incident March 8, in which she is accused of shoplifting assorted merchandise from a store on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, police said.
Also from March 8, she faces a charge of obstructing government administration. Police said when police officers approached her in connection to the robbery, she refused multiple commands to stop, finally running into her house on Nevada Road and slamming the door.

One of the outstanding bench warrants stems from an incident in 2023. On May 19 she fled from officers who attempted to stop her at 12:38 a.m. on the Southern State Parkway because they observed her failing to maintain her car in the lane, police said.
