In this class series, you will learn (from a professional teacher) about the basic skills in black and white drawing media, including graphite, charcoal, ink and wash. You will also develop eye, mind, and hand coordination through your observation of the still life and environment. Concentration will be on composition, line, shading, form, and other approaches to creating the illusion of space in a two-dimensional format. 

For beginner students and those with basic drawing knowledge. Drawing materials will be provided. 

 Materials Fee: $20.00

About the teacher:

Alaiyo Bradshaw has an MFA in Visual Arts and Illustration from the School of Visual Arts.  At Parsons the New School for Design, she has taught classes in Art History, Illustration, Digital Design, and Drawing. She is a professional illustrator and graphic designer. Her many solo and group exhibitions have been commissioned and organized by prominent galleries across the New York City region.
