Missing Deaf East Flatbush Senior Last Seen on Sep. 25: NYPD

Neville Layne, who is deaf, was last seen leaving his East Flatbush home.

EAST FLATUSH, BROOKLYN — A deaf 60-year-old East Flatbush man hasn't been seen since Sep. 25, police say.

Neville Layne, pictured above, was seen on that day at 11 a.m. leaving his home, located at 356 East 55 St.

Detectives say Nevill is five-feet-ten-inches tall and weighs 196 pounds. He has a medium build, a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a khaki cap.

Because Nevill can't hear, he communications using sign language.

Anyone with information about Nevill's whereabouts can confidentially report it using the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
