Here is what you need to know about the upcoming parade in East Islip.
EAST ISLIP, NY — The 57th Annual John P. Reilly East Islip St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for 2p.m. Sunday.
The parade steps off in front of the East Islip Library will travel west along Main Street to Irish Lane, according to Newsday.
The parade features numerous bagpipe bands and of marching community organizations. This year's grand marshal is Bill LePage, Aide Joe LePage and the Ladies Aide to the GM Eileen Knockenhauer.

According to the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 7, Reilly was the founder and chairmanof the parade from 1966, until his passing in 2006.
The East Islip St. Patrick's Day Parade was not held in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
